Terms of Service

2.1 Booking Process

• Lessons must be scheduled in advance through our booking system or by contacting us directly
• Booking confirmation will be sent via email
• First-time students may be required to complete an assessment or consultation
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

2.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment methods
• Package rates are available for multiple lessons purchased in advance
• All prices are in US dollars and subject to change with notice
• Package lessons expire 6 months from purchase date

2.3 Refund Policy

• Unused package lessons may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
• Individual lessons are non-refundable once booked
• Refunds for packages will be calculated based on the single-lesson rate for lessons already taken

3.1 Student Cancellations

• 24-hour notice required for cancellation or rescheduling without penalty
• Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will be charged in full
• No-shows will be charged the full lesson rate
• Emergency cancellations may be considered on a case-by-case basis

3.2 Instructor Cancellations

• If we must cancel a lesson, you will receive full credit or refund
• We will make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time
• You will be notified as soon as possible of any instructor cancellations

4.1 Code of Conduct

All students are expected to:

• Arrive on time and prepared for lessons
• Wear appropriate ballet attire and footwear
• Maintain respectful behavior towards instructors and other students
• Follow studio rules and safety guidelines
• Communicate any injuries or physical limitations before class

4.2 Dress Code

• Form-fitting dance attire that allows for movement assessment
• Ballet shoes (leather or canvas ballet slippers)
• Hair secured away from face (bun preferred for longer hair)
• No jewelry that could interfere with movement

5.1 Assumption of Risk

By participating in ballet lessons, you acknowledge that physical exercise, including ballet, carries inherent risks of injury. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

5.2 Medical Conditions

• Students must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations
• We reserve the right to require medical clearance before participation
• Students are responsible for their own medical insurance
• We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during lessons

5.3 Emergency Procedures

In case of emergency, we will attempt to contact your emergency contact and seek appropriate medical attention. You agree to be responsible for any medical costs incurred.
